Born in Manchester 1965, Susan Aggarwal's explorative paint palette began at Shena Simon College
Manchester and developed in 1986 whilst studying an Art foundation at Manchester Polytechnic (now
Manchester Metropolitan University). With her love and interest for colour and texture, she went onto
Huddersfield University where she completed a HND and ATI in Textile/ Design and graduated in 1990.
"...and so I dip my paint brush into my soul and paint my nature"
Enthused by nature and her passion for creativity, Susan loves to explore wonderful colours and
textures with an abundant sense of freedom. The collection of expressive work is a very personal
representation of the artist's very own experience of life, beauty, the natural world and her artistic
response to it.
The collection on show represents my love for life. For it is the experience and emotion which I seek
to capture in the works. A joyous abundance of colourful moments.
Susan Aggarwal established contemporary artist now works full-time from her studio at
Woodend Mill Manchester Road Mossley. It is my gratitude for life, to have the ability of greeting
the beauty of fresh air, Abundant colour, smells and textures and the wonderful sounds that nature
gives so generously that wholeheartedly feeds my soul and ignites my spirit. And so may you all
share some part of this wondrous journey, and my works offer some colour and joy in pockets of
